The train from/to Amsterdam Airport offers an easy method of transportation for travelers. To purchase the tickets passengers can go to the ticket desk on the arrivals level or at the yellow machines of Amsterdam Airport using cash / credit cards.


Train tickets for domestic flights are available from the yellow ticket machines near the platforms at Schiphol Plaza. The direct trains to reach the Amsterdam train station from Amsterdam Airport run every 10-15 minutes and the trip takes about 20 minutes.


The night trains travel once an hour between Utrecht CS - Amsterdam CS - Schiphol - Leiden CS - Den Haag CS - Delft and Rotterdam CS and vice versa.


Intercity direct train connects the Amsterdam Airport City Centre Train to Amsterdam CS, Rotterdam CS and Breda.


From Schiphol airport there are International train connections (European). Tickets can be purchased at the ticket offices of NS Hispeed (located close to the meeting point at Schiphol Plaza).

The net of buses offer an economical and easy mode of transportation for travelers from Amsterdam Airport. If you are staying at a hotel near the bus station these buses can be more direct than using a train.

Shuttle buses

The Schiphol Hotel shuttles, in Amsterdam Airport, are a good alternative to taxi. They offer door to door services.


Shuttles departs every 30 minutes during all the year, between 6 am and 9.00 pm at bus platform A7, outside the main entrance to the arrivals and train station level.


These buses run to/from Amsterdam Airport and surroundings. However, it is recommended to get in contact with the hotel to know if do you have the shuttle service available.
